((Please refer to The Code of the Silver Marches for overall laws))

Quaervarr:

Ruling Authority – Geth Stonar, Speaker.  Elected yearly by the Town Meeting.
Secondary Authority – Amra Clearwater, druid leader (woods near the town)

Exceptions to General Laws

1.    The town is quite small, and no official policy of imprisonment exists.  Banishment for a period of time is more common.  The basement underneath the Stag has been utilized for brief periods of incarceration.

2.   Arson is a crime specifically noted and punished by this town of woodcutters and carpenters.  It is a moderate to major crime depending on the intent and severity of the offense.  Branding and banishment have been penalties levied against offenders in the past.

3.   Axes are usually not considered improper in the “Wielding Weapons in Town” ordinance – many lumberjacks and jills bring them into the Stag and lean them against the bar.  However, utilizing them in any way is illegal.

4.   Due to recent problems with lycanthropes, “Shapechanging” is considered either a moderate or serious offense, depending on circumstance.
