We have had a average of about 10 new players a week check us out and we seem to keep out of those ten 5 which is pretty damn good.

I've spoken to many people on roleplay sites as well.  With the increased numbers we've had and the growing player base, it is working out well.  So far, the best thing is that everyone that has come to give us a shot has stayed and loved the incredible work done.  Even more so, they have all been mature and enjoyable people to roleplay with as opposed to just someone desiring to grind levels out.  For that, I thank the player base completely!!

Ok folks, TSM has always been, at its core, about the community in my opinion.  So, to facilitate that, I'm looking to other ways that our community can stay in contact.  

For those that may be concerned that if they sign up for something then they'll end up spammed by one of us administrators unnecessarily, let me put your mind at ease.  First, I would NEVER burden anyone with Mouls very scary ramblings without their permission so know that our intention is NOT to use this to contact you unless YOU choose to be contacted.  The only time that I may send out a note without your permission will be in the case of extensive server & forum crash where we have no other way to reach everyone to let them know what the status is.  Since each of these are YOUR programs, YOU have the ability to receive or NOT receive notices as you feel comfortable.  

So far we have:

"I can't stop the voices in my head" or "Welcome to our Skype account"
Install Skype and look for our TSM account (Tales of the Silver Marches) as a contact/friend.  I will monitor the Skype contact list and as people ask to be added as a contact, I'll approve them.  This will add you to the contact list which we will use to build conversation threads, send out real time server update information, or other instant information.   Each DM will have their own personal Skype account which you may use to contact them directly as well.

"Look what a little bird told me" or "Welcome to the SilverMarches Twitter account"
Go to Twitter and create an account.  When you do, just look for our twitter account (SilverMarches) and start to "follow" it.  When I send out a note or update on twitter, you will receive the note.  It will give update and emergency information in a manner similar to Skype but without the need to run a seperate program since Twitter will run either in a webpage or many other methods such as certain webphones...

"We got a face that any mother would love!" or "Welcome to the Tales ofthe Silver Marches Facebook account"
Go to Facebook, create a page and look for us (Tales ofthe Silver Marches) as a contact.  Again, as soon as I get the message asking for our contact, I'll approve and use that as methods to reach others.

I want to thank everyone that has voted and has done so with actual numbers rather than the inflated ones I see on some of these servers pages. Every server has some things thta need improvment and 15 tens all posted with in ten minutes of each other always makes my eyes roll.

Silver Marches Forum

Hello there.

We do allow CvC though we also have a subdual tool which you can read our rules on Character vs Character here.

We are an older PW that was recently rebuilt by a few crazy dedicated numbskulls and it seems word of mouth has gone out and we find ourselves with about 5 to 20 people logging in daily. Hopefully the trend stays to the point we soon have 20 people on all the time. Would be ideal though we could hanlde more but then would have to seriously upgrade our Staff.

We are very close to Pen and Paper in rules and use only the CEP as our hak. We have swimming, teleport, deity and domains. We have Timed, Exploration and even Player Awarded XP. Heck...we have too much to list here.

We are based in the Forgotten Realms area of the Silver Marches. No...at the moment we do not allow drow as our Underdark is not in and really...not sure if we could handle a bunch of Drizzit clones running around at the moment.

Crafting, new spells…so many different fun little bits to see. Hope you take a look at our forums and our Site and let us know what you think. You can pm here or on the forums under the name DM Nojheim.

I have opened up our Build Mod for peopel to vote on after downloading some other peoples Build Mods which are nothing but glorfied advertisment for them rather than anything useful for the Community of the NWN PW World.
